自从那次yum全面更新过系统后就没更新过内核了，一直用的是2.6.12的，现在2.6.15的都出来了，去网上下了个2.6.14的kernel,解压到/usr/src/下，然后make mrproper，接着make menuconfig（也可以make xconfigure），禁用或启用任何不想要或者想要的特征，去掉没有的硬件，加上NTFS file system support，去掉NTFS写支持。完事后make, makemodules_install, make install,reboot后grub上出现新内核的启动项，用新内核进终端，卸调原来的NVIDIA的驱动sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8178-pkg1.run –uninstall,在重新安装一遍sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8178-pkg1.run –add-this-kernel, sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8178-custom.run,编辑/boot/grub/menu.lst, 加入进入新内核的X的启动项，reboot。
